Privacy Policy
Overview
MethodAtlas doesn't require an account and doesn't collect personal information through any form on the Site. This policy explains the limited data involved in serving the Site to you.
Hosting logs
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard connection metadata (such as IP address, user agent, and request timestamps) as part of delivering the Site and protecting it from abuse, per Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service that reports aggregate, non-personally-identifying traffic metrics (such as page views and approximate location by country).
We also use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, and referring site. This data is transmitted to and processed by Google LLC under Google's own privacy policy. We do not use Google Analytics to build individual advertising profiles or for ad retargeting on this Site.
Fonts
The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading these fonts causes your browser to make a request to Google's servers, which may log request metadata (such as IP address) under Google's own privacy policy.
Cookies
MethodAtlas does not itself set any cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (e.g., to distinguish sessions and repeat visits) once enabled; you can block or delete these through your browser settings, or opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, and to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, applies to this Site, you have the right to know what personal information we've collected about you, request its deletion or correction, and opt out of its sale or sharing.
We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of Google Analytics may fall within the CCPA's broad definition of "sharing" of internet activity data (such as pages viewed and device identifiers) with Google as a third party. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as an opt-out request and skip loading Google Analytics entirely — no request beyond this is needed. You may also block analytics cookies directly in your browser or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, use the Contact Us button below.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the date at the top reflects the latest revision.
